December Reminder and Tutorial for a Geo Ornament

Today we have for you a special reminder from Heather,

for our current December Challenge which you can find HERE.
We hope you will come visit us this month!!!

Hi everyone!!!  Heather here and today I have for you a tutorial
 on how to make this Geo Ornament.

I have included a template for Circut Design Space for the circles with score
lines already on them for you, AND also have shown you how to
make with just a simple circle punch as well if you do not have a
cutting machine.

For other cutting machines, you just would insert a triangle and center it onto your
circle and line up the points to the edge of your circle and use the triangle lines
as your guide for the scoring lines.

The ornament is made up of 20 1 1/2" circles.  You could use other
sizes depending on how big or small you want your finished piece.

The paper I used for my ornament is from
The Paper Studio Remnants of the Season paper pad.

Hello everyone!  Today we would like to announce that we are having a DT Call for some new team members.  We are looking for all skill levels that enjoy making a variety of creations.  Do you enjoy
mixed media, scrapbooking, cardmaking and or pocket letters?  We would like to hear from you.

Changes for 2016 My Besties International Announcement!

We would love to welcome Heather Carney to My Besties International!

Heather has been a DT on several My Besties teams. And i am excited to announce that she will be the new DT coordinator for My Besties International beginning January 1, 2016.

She has begun work already making plans for this blog and you will ALL love the changes you will see being made!

Here is a bit about Heather-

Hi everyone!  I am excited to be here and look forward to seeing all of your amazing projects for the new year.  Well, a little about me.  I am a mother to 5 and grandma to 2 little girls.  I live in Indiana, USA with my husband and 2 of my children.  I was introduced to My Besties a little over a year ago and just fell in love with them and have been coloring and creating with them ever since. I enjoy trying new techniques and a mixed variety of paper crafts along with anything craft related.
Besides crafting, I have another passion, animals, I have been a part of our local Animal Humane Society and also up until this past year, was a volunteer with the Indianapolis Zoo.  Enough about me, lets see some of your projects and have FUN!
